Pistol or Revolver

What do you carry a pistol or a revolver? What is the reason you carry the type of weapon you carry.

I carry an XD 9 subcompact because it is easy to conceal, and holds 10 rounds, and has had no issues with feeding or firing when I pull the trigger.

So lets here your assessment of the carry gun.

Well I vary between a Kel-Tec P3AT or a Glock 22, or both. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. I usually throw my Kel-Tec into my back pocket when I'm running out on a quick errand, or wear my Glock in a Kholster if I'll be out for a good long while. Sometimes I wear both.

I have never had a misfeed with my Glock.

Re: Pistol or Revolver

I carry my Sigma 40GVE, IWB in a Kholster, about 99% of the time. There are several things I really like about this particular pistol; 1) there are no external safety levers that have to be manipulated in order to "turn on" the gun in the event I need to use it, you simply point it and engage the trigger with your finger. 2) In a platform that is nearly the same size as a Glock 23, I have 14+1 rounds of potent .40 S&W ammo at my disposal and at the ready, and by adding a spare magazine or two, I can greatly and easily increase my over-all ammunition supply 2 or 3 fold. 3) The gun comes from the factory "de-horned". There are no sharp or rough edges to catch on clothing or to impede a smooth draw. And 4), I have found this gun to be 100% reliable in the course of nearly 6500 rounds of ammunition. I've never experienced one failure of any kind from this firearm, ever.

Sometimes during the winter months, while heavy coats are the norm, I will carry my Ruger GP100 in a Bianchi Accumold, OWB.

Re: Pistol or Revolver

I carry a Ruger SR9 or a FNP-9, just depends on my mood. Usually if I IWB I carry the SR9, if I'm wearing a loose button down untucked I'll carry the FNP-9 with a OWB holster.

Re: Pistol or Revolver

Summer time I carry a Smith & Wesson 642-1 (NO-LOCK) and sometimes a Rugar LCP or Glock 19. When cooler weather I carry the Glock 19. I use Don Hume IWB holsters. Have been searching for a 45 acp that I can CCW.

When I wear shorts and sit on the porch I will put a Taurus 85 in my pocket. I never wear shorts outside of home, bird legs should not be displayed in public. All other times I have the XD 9 with me,sometimes I have more than one gun in the truck.
